I grew up as a child loving sport and this passion has never left me. From a young age I played Netball to a high standard, which helped to shape my further education. I completed a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation and Sport Science before embarking on employment roles over 15years within Physiotherapy, Physiology and Corporate Wellness.

After finishing university I decided to go for a jog one day and it is this jog that led me into the world of running. It is here that I found a love not only for running but for being outdoors in the fresh air, it’s varied training, social interactions and it’s competitiveness, competing in races all over the UK for my club.
Running is something that everyone can do, wherever they are! All you need is a pair of running shoes and I am certainly never far from mine. CrossFit came into my life 5years ago after the birth of my 2nd child, when baby classes and coffee/cakes with new mums was less appealing. After deciding not to return to my corporate job after maternity leave I decided to go back to my Sports roots and complete my CrossFit Level 1 certificate. As let’s be honest I was at the box everyday anyway!!
My biggest motivation is simply seeing members and clients succeed and achieve their goals. For some these goals may simply be over coming an injury, but there is always something special about being there when a member achieves their first T2B or they hit a new PB. These moments amaze me every time and it is incredibly rewarding as a Coach to know that you have helped them in some way.
